767 kilometers of roads were constructed in 2016
Today in Kazakhstan transport infrastructure is developing rapidly all over the territory. And about 1,000 kilometers of roads has already been put in commission by the end of 2016, and there should be mentioned completion of such projects as:
– Road traffic was started on “Almaty-Kapchagay” highway, completed works on reconstruction of one
of the key sections of “Astana-Temirtau”, having length of 171 km, it should be mentioned that 28,000
vehicles pass on this site per day.
– Such road sections as “Kokshetau – Petropavlovsk”, “Aktau-Beineu”, “Kapshagay-Taldykorgan” were
put into operation.
– Construction of the longest bridge in Asia was completed in Pavlodar.
According to the data of “KazAvtoZhol”, annual volume of construction of new roads have increased almost in 12 times. Particular attention is paid to improving quality of covering of near-border transport corridors of Kazakhstan, modern road branch further will be stretched from Petropavlovsk to a nearby Kurgan. Works on several projects having length over 2,000 kilometers began within the country.
